Intan Jaya - The Raider Infantry Battalion 509/Balawara Yudha Kostrad, operating under the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA, is actively engaged in mobile security operations along the Indonesia-Papua New Guinea border in Intan Jaya Regency, Papua Tengah Province. On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, the 509 Task Forces hosted a Social Communication (Komsos) event with the residents of Bilogai Village, Sugapa District, while fulfilling their area protection duties.
Lieutenant Colonel Dian Dessiawan Setyadi, the Commander of the 509 Task Forces, underscored the importance of focusing on the community's fundamental needs. During their security patrol, the Soldiers took the opportunity to connect with residents at the Tanah Putih Church, where they practiced music together in preparation for the upcoming Sunday Service.
